The Signal Collection
To kick off this new family of patches, we wanted to go classic. Sure, we have some other non-logo designs in the works. Some are actually pretty wild! But these designs in the Signal Collection should be iconic and impactful. Just like the bright and bold inspiration behind the collection’s name, which is both a noun and a verb. To signal or signaling is the act of conveying information and the signal can also be the actual physical object used to convey information.
Two great examples are the Semaphore alphabet (which always reminds me of Wes Anderson’s movies) and the art of using Morse Code via signal lamp light pulses for naval signalling (pioneered by the Royal Navy in the 19th century).
P13 Signal “Lucky Thirteen”
We had to have some fun with lucky number 13 in the collection of Carryology Morale Patches. Personally, I’ve always wanted a murdered-out all-black Carryology patch. In the past, I’ve even “custom made” my own blacked out Carryology patches using black paint pens. No more of that. It’s official, black on black in here.
